STAFFi ("we", "our", or "us") operates the STAFFi Fall Alarm mobile application (the “App”) and the STAFFi Fall Alarm Device (the “Device”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App and Device.

When you use the STAFFi App and Device, we may collect the following information:

  • Device Information: Information from your connected STAFFi device such as fall alerts, status signals, and button interactions.

  • Location Information: Your GPS location (only when a fall is detected or when required to notify emergency contacts).

  • Technical Data: Basic device and app performance information (e.g., app version, operating system) to maintain functionality.

We do not collect payment data, browsing history, or any unrelated personal content.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information strictly to provide and improve the STAFFi service, including:

  • Sending SMS messages and phone calls to your nominated emergency contacts.

  • Providing GPS location data to emergency contacts in the event of a fall alert.

  • Operating the Bluetooth connection between your phone and the STAFFi Device.

  • Improving app functionality, reliability, and safety features.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
We may share your data only in the following circumstances:

  • With your Emergency Contacts: To notify them during a fall alert.

  • As Required by Law: If compelled by legal authorities.

4. Data Storage and Retention

  • Contact details and your username are stored locally on your smartphone, not on our servers.

  • Location data is only transmitted during an active fall alert and is not continuously tracked.

  • We do not maintain permanent logs of your personal information.

5. Security

We take reasonable technical and administrative measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

6. Your Choices and Rights

  • You may update or delete your emergency contacts at any time in the App.

  • You may uninstall the App to remove all stored personal data.

  • You may disable Bluetooth or Location Services, but doing so will prevent the App from functioning properly.

7. Children’s Privacy

The STAFFi App is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted within the App and on our website.
