The STAFFi Fall Alarm Device and accompanying mobile application (the “STAFFi App”) are designed as a personal monitoring and alert tool to assist in notifying emergency contacts in the event of a detected fall.

STAFFi is not a life-saving device, medical device, or emergency position-indicating radio beacon (EPIRB). It must not be relied upon as a substitute for appropriate medical equipment, emergency communication systems, or safety practices.

The device and app require:

• A compatible, functioning smartphone with Bluetooth enabled,

• The STAFFi App installed and running, and

• All necessary permissions enabled (including Bluetooth, Location “Always”, Background App Use, and unrestricted Battery Use).

STAFFi may not function if:

• The smartphone is out of range or switched off,

• Bluetooth connectivity is interrupted,

• Required app permissions are disabled, or

• Mobile coverage or internet service is unavailable.

By purchasing, using, or relying on STAFFi, you acknowledge and agree that:

• STAFFi Fall Alarms accepts no liability or responsibility for any injury, loss, damage, or consequence arising from use or misuse of the STAFFi Device or App.

• The user remains solely responsible for their own safety, for ensuring the device and app are correctly configured, and for maintaining their phone’s functionality and connectivity.
